Vista is generally ok, but has it's flaws

Some minor issues with Vista...

Vista always insists on placing the 'user doc folder' in the upper left hand
corner even though I prefer to have 'My Computer' there. Every time I
restart it's moved back to the default location.

Might be a IE error. Spawning off existing webpages - cannot save in the
last location.

Ummm... admin account does nothing but show a black screen and a mouse
pointer after a successful login. Had to create another account after
booting in safe mode.

Over all I like the system. I advise not upgrading unless you have a decent
enough system to put it on (i.e. 128mb vid card, etc.).

How do you add a program to the allow list? - have an ASUS motherboard
monitor that I want to start up and I always have to be warned on startup to
allow it.

Could it be 'auto arrange' ?
Right click the desktop, select 'View' and see if 'Auto arrange' is
ticked.

Not set to 'auto arrange'. Hmm... my other system seems to work fine. I
will keep a better eye on it. Thanks!

The black screen after login has still got me. I am able to log in other
account just fine, but the main one. I even made another admin account and
it's still that one account. Disabled the program I thought was the cause
(mouse pad driver). Still nothing.
