Vista Install blue screens

Hi,

My Vista ultimate 32 bit blue screens during installation if I have my
wireless USB keyboard and mouse connected. These are a Microsoft Wireless
Laser 6000 package.

The Blue screen happens when Vista tries to do the Computer Performance
tests fairly near the beginning of the completion bar. When the system
restarts I am asked to enter a second username - having gone through this
procedure a second time the performance test is skipped and the system
starts OK.

Any ideas if this is expected behaviour or how to resolve it (apart from
using a standard PS2 keyboard and mouse - which works OK)

I believe that the MS drivers are still problematic for the 6000.
Many posts in here about problems even with the latest drivers.
