Vista equivalent to the i386 directory?

When I have installed previous versions of Windows, I have always copied the
i386 directory to the hard disk, for those times when Windows wants to
install something, to save having to hunt out the CD.

There appears not to be an i386 directory on the Vista DVD, so what is the
equivalent that I should copy to disk?

Thanks

There is no equivalent as Vista installs differently. Probably will need to
use SFC and follow instructions if one of your system files is corrupt.
