Vista Enterprise to Vista Ultimate?

Hello,
I have a laptop with Vista Enterprise and would like to upgrade to Vista
Ultimate. Will it do an upgrade in place or should I do a clean install?
 
I believe you can do an anytime upgrade and you shouldn't have any problems.
Haven't used enterprise yet myself though.

I don't think there is an upgrade path from Enterprise to Ultimate via the
anytime upgrade. Since Enterprise is only available to VL customers you
will need to get a Retail Ultimate and do a clean install. There isn't a VL
Ultiamte that i know of.

All MS OS's are best installed totally fresh.
