There is nothing in my sent box. This is extremely frightening for me since
I have been sending out resumes for months looking for work. There is no
error message, the email address does not come back as undeliverable. How
can I fix this?--

Hi, sloveall.

Neither of your two messages told us WHICH PROGRAM you are using to email
your resumes: Outlook? Outlook Express? Windows Mail? Windows Live Mail?
Since you are using the web-based interface, we can't tell.

In OE/WM/WLM, click Tools | Options | Send. The top checkbox says, "Save
copy of sent messages in the 'Sent Items' folder". Check this box.

WinMail/Tools/Options/Send tab... check Save a copy... (1st checkbox)

Ah, sorry, I'm not much of a tech person. I thought Vista was what you
needed. It's Windows Mail. My Yahoo works fine (if that helps).

Make sure that the View for the "Sent Items" folder is set to "Show all
messages"

Thanks, Dave, for taking the time to write. I finally called Dell and they
helped. It was the POP and SMTPAUTH paths. They deleted it and put it back.
Thanks again!

So if your SMTP path (?) was set incorrectly for whatever reason, you did
not send any email; next time, you might try sending yourself a cc (carbon
copy) and see if you get it. POP must work also to receive it.
