I send one email to one person and they receive two identical emails from me.
I'm not sure why two are being sent. I'm using windows mail with Vista.
Thanks for your help.

Check your accounts and make sure you do not have duplicates for the same
account.

It could be the other person. If he/she is not properly downloading his/her
emails, they stay on his/her server then get re-downloaded. So it may not be
you at all.

You might check for a virus as this is a symptom of some denial of service
type of viruses. Most send more, but some are less aggressive.

Is it a single recipient of your mail this happens to, or does it
happen with everyone you send mail to?

How many emails do you get if you send one email to yourself?

Me too, I think it is not caused by OS, it may be a problem of
googlegroups.
