Vista E-mails

After I transfer unwanted mail to the deleted folder I am unable to delete
them from this folder. I get the message "an umknown error has occured" how
do I remove these unwanted e-mails from the deleted folder?

Try Microsoft's fix:

"Messages may be stuck in the Outbox when you use Windows Mail on a
computer that is running Windows Vista"

That page offers two download options. Unless you know for sure
you have 64-bit Vista, use the 32-bit option.

Although only "Outbox" is mentioned, the fix actually works for all folders
