Vista DVD-R with UDF?

Recently installed Vista Prem as XP was corrupted, etc. Before the install,
copied to Phillips DVD-R 3.7GB of jpeg and .doc files. When I try to open the
DVD-R, Vista recognizes that the disk is there and that 3.77 of 4.38 GB are
utilitized but it shows 0 items. The IBM Thinkpad "Levoto" has the Matshita
DVD-Ram UJ-830Sx ATA drive and the latest driver. Other cd's and movie dvds
seem to play just fine. Any ideas or suggestions?
Tnx

Was the DVD-R written as a drag-to-drop 'floppy' type with a 'directcd' type
program? If so you will need that program to get the files off the disk.

If a DVD or CD was not closed by the originating program (it still can be
written to) Vista has a problem seeing the data. I use Isobuster (the free
part) It will allow you to extract the files.

PaulB,
Yep, that worked just fine...Isobuster was the answer to the problem.
