for some reason vista crashes everytime i view flash content in any browser i
use,i get the BSOD every time, any idea why?

While Vista doesn't crash with Flash on my system, Internet Explorer is
EXTREMELY unstable with Flash enabled. And even after updating to the latest
version today, it took under 5 minutes for it to crash again. So while it's
always good to have the most up-to-date software, Flash on Vista is flat-out
awful. Unfortunately, it's nearly impossible to browse the web these days
without running into a site that requires Flash.
Shame on web developers/advertisers for depending so much on Flash, shame on
Adobe for releasing something this unstable, and shame on Microsoft for
having a browser than can't gracefully host plug-ins.

Try uninstalling Windows Vista, reinstalling Windows XP. This worked on 2
computers I bought recently. Fixed all my problems.

That's giving up....

I'm thinking your a minority, and your flash installation is also out of date.
There's nothing wrong with flash and vista.

You call it giving up, I call it 'UPgrading' my computer to one that works.
Regardless of what you call it, my life has been so much simpler since
ditching Vista. My blood pressure probably dropped a few points too.
