This never happened with XP, but every two or three days my clock loses an
hour, exactly an hour. Any suggestions. TIA

How old is your computer? Maybe your BIOS ROM is failing.

Make sure that your Time Zone is set correctly. When you are connected to
the internet, Windows Time synchronizes with a online time provider and if
you have the wrong Time Zone your clock will be updated incorrectly.

You're set for the wrong time zone. Whenever Windows synchs the clock
it resets it to the wrong time zone you are set to.
