vista boot problem please help me

i have a big problem. i bought new laptop with win vista. i am computer
science student. so i made 4 partition on my 160 gb harddsik .because of new
os i installed win xp in 2 partition but after in stalling it i cant lind
boot manu like win xp and win vista. Automatically win xp start. I want to
recover win vista. Can i see both like 2 boot option manu. Or i want to
recover only win vista. so how to uniinstall it and recover win vista. Please
help me as soon as possible i have exam on friday.i cant use my laptop.

Boot to Vista DVD and run Startup Repair. Look here:

I understand you can't just install an earlier version (XP) on a
machine that already has a later version (VISTA) because as you have
found out it changes the boot files.

You may be able to rectify this with VISTABOOTPro, as someone has
suggested, and there is a command line instruction to repair the VISTA
boot file although I don't know what it is.

I'd suggest if you want to use your laptop tomorrow you'd better run
the recovery disks that should come with it to set it back to factory
condition.
