Vista BlueScreen

Hi,
I keep getting BlueScreen while using Vista Business fully patched but no
SP1 applied yet.

I noticed the BlueScreen happens more when I leave my notebook to
hibernate.

Specs: Dell D830 running Vista Business, 4GB RAM, nVidia NVS140M, SATA 160GB.

nVidia driver was downloaded from Dell website.

Hi Mark,
My problem actually is not the loss of the hybernation feature. Rather
it's the BlueScreen that appears randomly once the computer enters or try to
enter hibernation status. The strange thing is that this doesn't always
happen, it only occure every 4 to 6 hibernation attempts.

Dreamer,

It could be a heat related hardware issue. Does your laptop receive the
necessary ventilation while it is being used? Since the issue arises only
after several hours of use it may be related to heat.

Go into system properties/advanced/startup and turn off auto restart and you
can get a better error message and codes to report back or Google for
yourself
