Vista Basic upgrade from XP Download

I bought the download version of Vista Basic to upgrade by XP laptop. When I
did this I had assumed, my fault, that it would be a simple iso dvd image,
and I would create a setup DVD and move forward from there. Of course, it
doesn't work that way.

So does anyone know how I can create a setup DVD from the downloaded version
of the Vista upgrade? I was wanting to change my partitions etc. on my hard
drive before I ran this and can not do that without the DVD. Any help is
appreciated.

Thanks,
Gary

Go grab vLite.
This is the Vista version of nLite and should run in XP too. It will create
a bootable DVD. You just add your Vista files in with any drivers or other
files you want on the DVD.

I used this to merge my install CDs into a single install DVD. Works great!

Keith,

I went up and found the software. Unfortunately, the sight has suddenly
disappeared before I had a chance to download the software and give it a try.
If it comes back up I'll take your advice and let you know how it goes.
