Vista Backup

I have windows Vista Premium. I did install internal second hard drive
(D: )for backup
but vista's backup utility does not detect this drive.
How can I fix it?

On my computer, drive D: is the section of the main hard drive that is
reserved for system recovery. On my computer, my second hard drive is drive
K:.
