Vista Backup for Home Premium

Two questions,

First, the vista backup and restore center doesn't backup all of the files I
want it to. I am a web developer and work with PHP. vista backup and
restore center doesn't backup .php files or .js (javascript) files. I
checked by starting a restore process and searching for these files. I
haven't explored any further but it looks like Microsoft decided what types
of files are important to users and just backs those up. If the files are in
my Documents folder (actually any files in the Users folder), they should be
backed up. How can I get vista backup and restore center to backup these
files?

Second, Why doesn't Vista Home Premium support image backups? The cost to
upgrade to Ultimate is $150. This is ridiculous. I can buy a backup product
that creates image backups for under $50.

We've heard a lot of feedback about the types of files that are
excluded...the only way to back them up is to zip them first and then choose
the "Compressed Files" option. We are looking at ways to improve this in
future version.

Ultimate Edition contains a number of features in addition to Complete PC
Backup. I agree that it would be useful to have this tool in Premium Edition
but this was a marketing decision to help differente the editions and add
value to Ultimate.

This is what I expected to hear from Microsoft. Unfortunately the company
has become too marketing driven. I, personally consider that any file in the
Users folder to be put there by the user and as such should be backed up. To
not do this is a disservice to the users. As for Ultimate, besides image
backup, the only other features that I would be interested in are possibly
Fax and Scan which I can get from 3rd parties and Support for high end
hardware (does this mean that my Centrino Core 2 Duo processor is not
supported by Home Premium, which would indicate to me that I am running on
only one CPU).
