In this moment I have windows XP in my desktop and this run sucessfully. Now,
I want to buy and install windows vista ultimate in the same machine without
to have to uninstall windows XP; I want to have the two operative system in
the same desktop but I don't know if I can do it with vista.

I'm waiting for your comments.

OK,other question...
To peter,
If I already made that mistake,
I had Vista and then I installed XP on the same partition :)
Now XP is working but not and Vista,
so is it possible to make the things as before, to move XP,and to leave
Vista,vich will be working.
If is it possible, pls tell me how to do that, because I tryed to uninstall
XP but I couldnt find the uninstall file,, :(

Your XP installation overwrote the Vista MBR...........find the directory
for XP and delete it
Insert your Vista DVD and do a Startup Repair....
This does leave XP stuff behind that you could manually track down and
delete if you are familiar with where XP places its user files.
The other alternative is to reinstall XP ...and during the install create
another partition....format both partitions...install XP into one partition
and then install Vista into the other. This creates a true dual boot
automatically with the choices showing up during boot.
If you've given up on dual boot and wish to "really clean out XP files" a
fesh new Vista install will do it...formatting the HD in the
process.Formatting of course deletes everything you have on the drive and
you would need to save your work as well as reinstall all mobo/video/audio/
drivers and all programs.
good luck
