vista and grisoft

I have been using grisoft anti-virus and anti-spyware for some time with
windows xp. Now that I have vista in a new cpu, my windows email will not
work, (Ican send but not receive) IF I have the grisoft programs installed.

Anyone hear of a solution?

Turn off email scanning!

You don't need it, because your messages are already scanned as they are
downloaded by the main scanning function.

Try updating your AVG Antivirus. There's a newer version out since today
(at least for the free version), and this is one of the changes in the
change log:

- Fixed problem with blocking sending/receiving emails on Windows Vista.
