I am just having tons of fun Vista installed, GA-M55Plus-S3G, new volume on
new PATA HD, 1 GB ram, tried to play a DVD with Media Player 11, no other
programs running, says running out of ram. Install PowerDVD, DVD plays but
sound is scratchy and broken. Attempts to install MOBO disk do not work
either.

Stumbled into a useful technique, when the install is an .exe use right
click on the file and select run as administrator. This allowed me to
install my video card (ATI) and some chipset drivers (nForce4). still
looking for basic SCSI drivers.
