Vist/XP dual boot

I purchased a new computer with Vista installed. I installed my old
IDE HDD with XP installed to the new computer and now I cannot boot
from XP. I tried to reinstall XP but got blue screen every time. Can
anyone help please?
 
You must boot from the XP CD and do a repair install after swapping the
drive to a different computer.
 
It won't work because the XP drive doesn't have the drivers installed for
your new machine. Do a repair install of Windows XP as per the instructions
on my website:
