Visited Links Color change not staying

when i visit a link i get a split second color change to the visited link
color but if i return to the page it no longe rremembers a page has been
visisted. Its quite hard to surf and not be able to know what links you have
been at is there a way to fix this?

Possibly corruption in the History folder. Delete your
History folder using the appropriate (for your OS) instructions at:
http://mvps.org/winhelp2002/delcache.htm
