Does anyone know if I could attribute the virus-like symptoms (described in
a previous post) to having my work in numberous files scatted over my
desktop? When I put it all in a single file it didn't play up.
Does it mean I should take both of my HDD's (one of them new, the other
fairly new), the two of which behave in this way, back to the shop?

Thanks,

Versy

And could the symptoms be attributable (and should I be at all worried
about) 178 'Invalid Windows Shortcuts' and an 'Invalid Applicatin Path'
(identified by PC Rescue)?

Cheers,

Versy
