virus killed my browser

A computer virus that hit the day before Norton updated its
virus scanner, disabled my Microsoft internet explorer
browser although my email continues to work. I can not
restore to a previous date, nor can I download a new
version. Alas, it appears to be drt (dead right there!).
Is there a fix available without going back to my original
restore disks? I have downloaded Netscape in the meantime,
but would prefer Explorer.

More information, please. Are there error messages? Does IE open? Does it do
anything? Which version of Windows are you running?

In the meantime... you might try repairing IE.
