virus affecting keyboard

Hi everybody,
I think I have a virus on my comp, due to which some keys on the
keyboard have got interchanged with other keys. The keys mainly
affected are the special symbols (ie ", £, %, @) etc which appear
above the number-keys at the top of the keyboard. For eg, when I press
shift-2, I should get @, but I get " ; and the reverse also happens, @
instead of ".
Does anybody have any idea which virus this is, and how do I fix it.
Thanks and regards,
Hormuz

It's not necessarily a virus. Go -
Start | Control Panel | Regional and Language Options
and make sure the settings are correct for you.

Let us know how you get on.

shift-2 -> @ is on a US keyboard
shift-2 -> " is on a UK keyboard

and vice versa

Probably not a virus.

Jim.
