Virtual Truck

Pollo Jack

Couldn't find anything in the knowledge base so here
goes. When I start my computer I auto get a error message
saying

"Cannot find a file necessary to continue Virtual Truck
setup:

F:\RRConnct.exe"

This has happened since a week after I got the computer I
just never took the time to get rid of it or ask for help
on doing so. Thank you.

Here is some specific Virtual Truck info
:
When Booting you may see an error message refering to one of the following
Virtual Truck
Vtruck
VTAgent

This is a program used to enhance the internet connection on a PPPoe line

Depending on the version there are several known resolutions:
1. Simply disable it in MSConfig (this will only work in earlier versions.
Later
versions will recreate the link)
To use Msconfig rename the attached from from msconfig.txt to msconfig.exe.

Place the file in the Windows Directory
Go to Start\Run type in Msconfig and press OK.
Go to the Startup tab.
Uncheck any of these if you see them:

Virtual Truck
Vtruck
VTAgent

Press Ok.
Once your computer is restarted see if the issue still occurs.

2. Uninstall the program (This is a drastic option but not usually
effective the
program may not put itself in the add/remove programs menu)

3. Insert the ISP CD. (This is likely the CD it wants, This program is
used
widely by many PPPoe ISP
