virtual private networking

I have recently re-installed windows2000, i had the vpn
set up on it before, but i am not able to do so now.

I am logged on as administrator. The "connect to a
private network" option is not available.. to set up
vpn... what do i do??

you have to configure a VPN dial out connection

start > setting > network and dial-up connections > make
new connection

in network connection wizard , select connect to a private
network through the internet

than following instruction to complete the wizard
