I work from home. I am running Win XP. I have dsl. I use cisco vpn & i
keep losing my connection. I get errors the following errors " An SSL
VPN reconnect resulted in different configuration settings. The SSL VPN
network interface is being re-initialized. Applications utilizing the
private network may need to be restarted." " The SSL VPN connection was
terminated due to ip forwarding table modifications & could not be
automatically re-established. A new connection requires
re-authenication & must be started manually."

My IT guys at work tell me to call my ISP & my ISP just wants to sell
me a static ip. (not monetarily worth it for me)

Anyone have any ideas on this??

Thanks in advance

I have the exact same problem. I update the Cisco VPN SSL client to version
1.1.1.164 but that has not helped. For me the problem only occurs when the
users is on a wireless connection. The VPN tunnel does not appear to
disconnect but the routing seems to get messed up. I am wondering if it has
to do with one of the security updates applied last week my Microsoft. One
update KB917953 fixes something in the IP source route. Does anyone have a
fix as I am struggling to find out why this is occuring.
