Virtual PC type software?

I need to run Windows 98 in a virtual PC-like program on Windows XP. What
programs besides Microsoft Virtual PC can run Windows 98 in a windows
within XP? Are any of the competitors better than MS Virtual PC?

There are MS newsgroups for VirtualPC. Here is a list of all the MS

I haven't used VMWare, but found VirtualPC very useful. I ran DOS,
Windows 3.1, Win95/98, and OS/2 virtual machines with it. Very fun.

Yups I was just going to say VMWare. I used it during college to simulate a
network environment and it works great. I recently read an article on which
one is better. It said that VMWare was more customizable than Virtual PC and
has more built in support for Linux and older type PCs.
