Virtual PC and XP with no internet connection, anybody?

Virt PC 5.1

I was using Windows 98 in my virt pc and I could use dial up from the guest
pc just fine. I am using XP now and when I try to dial up I get a "no dial
tone" or a 692 error. I don't have networking installed and don't want it. I
want to be able to dial directly from my guest pc. I can't figure out why I
got this to work just fine with Windows 98 but I can't get it going with XP.
The modem is installed and shows fine in system properties. Any suggestions
for me to get dial up working in guest pc?

Keep Ras Connection within Fast User Switching (Line 32)
