The following progression will take you where you can
change it using windows XP home edition. The system will
tell you what your maximum amount will be that you can
set. Follow this path: Start, control panel, performance
& maintenance, system, advanced, visualations and
advanced (select advanced), virtual memory will be on the
bottom of this screen, select change and enter the value
you want. Be sure to back out with the OK's to save your
