I just reformated a Dell P2 machine with mswxp and get "virtual memory too low error" I'm also having a hard time updating . MS says my copy of XP maybe counterfit or corupted which is not the case. Can you put one copy of XP on multiple machines?,These said machines are mine for my home and school. I'm not a pirate I'm just trying to rebuild and reformat old machines for class.

I belive you can get versions which allow you to install to a number of machines with the one key but they are usually sold to businesses . An OEM version allows you to install on one machine and as long as you take it of the pc you can then install on another pc but you have to let MS know about it .
