after buying, installing a new HDD I was just wondering if
i could stop using the Virtual memory on my C: drive and
move it over to the new one. Could there be any problems
by doing this performance wise etc?

Microsoft recommends doing just that, when you change
though, there is a min. you need to leave for the error
log,350-375mb depending on ram,if 512mb are installed
this should be ok,or select, let windows manage on it
or both hds is probably perferred. When you finish the
entry(s) click the set button 2X.

thanks for the reply i will do just that

It is quite a good idea in principle to put it on a second physical
drive, in that that is likely to see less use. In practice with modern
size RAM, actual traffic on the file is small, and you probably would
not notice much difference. If you move it, keep a minimal Initial 2
max 50 on C: or the system may not like it. Read up at
