Virtual Memory

I have a new file server with Win2k/SP4 and 1G memory. Symantec Antivirus
and windows backup are running on this server. 2 ide drives backup data from
scsi drives every night. Right now, when I try to do some thing on the
computer even open MY Computer, I allways get a error message: Low Virtual
Memory and windows is increasing the size... The memery usage become jumping
between 20% to 100% again and again. It allways happen when I try to run
some application.
Please Help.

Hi,
I don't have the answer, but I do think I have the same
problem. Maybe we can team up on this.

My problem is when booting up a win2k pc, I get the
error"low virtual memory, Windows will create a temp
pagefile, go to control panel and enlarge the size of the
pagefile".

If this is what you are receiving, please let me know
what you have tried already.

go the sytem then click on advanced then click on settings.
