virtual memory with 2 hard drives

I started doing video editing with Movie Maker and other software. I have a
second hard drive to store all of the files associated with the making of
movies. The Movie maker application itself runs from the first drive. My
question is: What hard drive should I use for my virtual memory? When Movie
Maker runs it uses the first drive to run the app but the second drive to
create the files and to use for swap files as well.

Best solution is to configure a paging file on both drives.

That allows Windows to use whichever file is best suited for each
paging operation.

The ultimate answer to all questions regarding paging files is to have
sufficient RAM so as to eliminate, or at least reduce as much as
possible, then need for Windows to actually move active memory content
from RAM to the paging file(s).

Good luck
