Virtual memory showing zero

I use a program called FreeRam XP Pro and when I start up my computer the
virtual memory is showing about 93%, after about 10 hours the virtual memory
is showing 0%. My computer then freezes up and the only thing I can do is
reboot. After the reboot everything is fine until the virtual memory counts
down to 0% again. Please help. Many thanks.

Hi Allan:

Your computer will perform much better as soon as you get rid of
FreeRAM. Such programs work against Windows internal memory management.

Ditto. Such programs are nothing but snake oil, and hurt you rather than
help you. Allan, I strongly second what Earl says here, and recommend
uninstalling it. I wouldn't be surprised if that fixes the problem
immediately, but even if it doesn't, it will be much easier to troubleshoot
such a problem without garbage like this running.
