Virtual Memory Problems

When I try and start a program I get the message "This
program requires at least 3mb of virtual memory to run".
All of my other progarms start just fine. I also have a
Gig of DDR Ram. I have adjusted the virtual memory under
the Advance performance settings several differnt ways;
however, nothing seems to help. Can someone help me with
this?

It's probably a problem with the program.
