Virtual memory message

please help me, when I start up my computer and sometimes
when I'm surfing eventhough I only have one window open, I
usually get the message that my virtual memory is low and
windows is trying to improve it.....and my computer slows
down, I shouldn't be having this problem because there
isn't much stuff on my computer and I did a disk defrag
and disk cleanup earlier this week and I have over half my
space still available...........I don't know what to do,
can anyone help???

Tracy, rt click MyComputer>select
Properties>Advanced>Performance-Settings>Advanced>Virtual Memory-Change.
click on Customize and type in 600 in both boxes. Finish up by
clicking on Set>Ok.
