Virtual Drive

Not sure if this is the right place to ask. I am looking for a virtual
drive for vista that can rip and read cd images. only catch is it must be
free? ? ?
 
How do i disable virtual drives?
I have a game Guild 2 which will not work unless i disable virtual drives.
