virtual device driver failed DLL initialization

For some reason my computer has started giving me the error message:
16 bit windows subsystem
C:\progra1\symantic\S32EVNT.DLL
*An available virtual device driver failed DLL initialization. Choose close
to terminate application.

How can I repair/replace this file? I did not get restore disks when I got
my computer, my program was pre-installed.

That is *not* a windows file...
it has to do with your virus checker...
you can try reinstalling it...or better still uninstall it altogether and
get another one such as AVG or Avast
