Help with Virtual Device Drivers

I'm getting a pop-up message whenever I open up a game (Taipei) from
WEP. The message is:

"16 bit Windows Subsystem
System\CurrentControlSet\Control\VirtualDeviceDrivers.VDD
Virtual Device Driver format in the registry is invalid. Choose
'Close' to terminate the application."

I'm using Win XP Pro. I click on ignore and can play the game.
What do I need to do to fix the problem?
