I just downloaded a zip file to my desk top. It's the KJV Bible. I can't use
it. It's all in code or something. Can someone show me how to make the
program work??

Zip files need to be unzipped with one of many utilities. Winzip is
among the most popular. Good luck.

Zip files are compressed files and contain one or more files that need
to be "extracted" before use. Zip files come on two forms, regular and
deluxe-self-extracting. A self extracting file would have run and extracted
the files it held. It sounds like you have a regular version.

You need to find and install a zip program. I recommend WinZip. I
think they may have a free version. I have the commercial version. Just
search for WinZip on the web.

A straight forward zip file without a password should open using Win XP zip
folders, double click the file in windows explorer.
