Viewing source not working

In an effort to develop my own webpage, I am attempting
to look at source code of sites that I like, but choosing
view source is not popping up a window for reading.
Absolutely nothing is happening.

I use XP Pro and have a pop-up blocker.

Any ideas as to the problem?
