Why has my IE 6 suddenly stopped allowing me to view>source on every website.

Can it be repaired?

Aidan,
Open IE and go to Tools/Internet Options and on the General tab, click
Delete Files button and also put a check in Offline Content and OK. Let it
remove the TIF's and then reopen IE and try it again... If this does not
work, post back to this thread for more fixes.

This is usually fixed by emptying the Temporary Internet Files.

Also, if you have a shortcut to Notepad on your desktop rename it to Npad.

Some people have reported that Quick View Plus can cause this.

Restore Source View

Backup your registry before modifying

Search the registry (Start>run..type in "regedit" without the quotes> press
OK, The search for the DWORD "noviewsource".(without the quotes)

If that exists, delete it or set it to 0.
