Viewing Multiple Pics on a single slide

Does anyone know how or even if it is possible to have multiple pictures
playing in a slideshow on a single slide??

For example: Id want to have the slide give information about an event and
then show variuos pictures from that event without going to multiple slides
to show the pictures..

Any ideas???

You can have all the images on the same slide overlaying each other and
assign animations to appear and fade (depending on the version of
PowerPoint) at given intervals.

Hi

I would put the main picture on say half the slide.
Overlay transparent (ie invisible) circles on to it or onto appropriate text
relating to aspects of the event.

Use these as triggers for selected photo(s) to appear and disappear on other
half of slide.

I'm not sure your mean is that you want to take several pics display
one by one like a slideshow and these pics tell others an event.
