Viewing/ Editing private appointments in Outlook

I am on Outlook 07, while my manager is on Outlook 03. We delegated each
other's calendars to that of an Editor's permission levels with access to
Private items checked. While I am able to view my manager's private
appointments and can edit it, he is unable to view/ edit mine. Both of us
have the the "Delegate can see private items" checked

Thank you for the suggestion. It did help me (on Outlook 07) in resolving
being able to open the Private items on my manager's calender.

However, my manager who is on Outlook 03 is still unable to view my Private
items.
We have the same delegate settings turned on.
