Viewing Attachments in Outlook Express 6

I have a new Dell computer running XP. I am using
outlook express 6 for email. I am not able to view
attachments sent to me. The attachment clip icon is
greyed out. What is my solution.

Click: Tools/Options/Security Tab/ uncheck "Do not allow attachments to be
saved that .........."
