viewing adobe pdf files

When a pdf file is preented on a web page, i can only see an icon in the
upper left.
I have the latest version of adobe reader. How do i get IE6 to show pdf's

try this:
-open adobe reader, go to "edit", then "preferences".
Highlight 'internet', make sure "display pdf in browser"
is checked.

I resinstalled the most recent version of reader and it works fine...must
have been a corrupted installation that wasnt "connecting " with IE
