viewer opens 2 presentations when mp3 attached

I created a viewer presentation that works well on an autoplay cd. The
presentation has an MP3 file attached and that MP3 file downloads separately
from the presentation when created in PowerPoint 2003. When autoplay
initiates, 2 presentations start up. I kill one, but I can't distribute a cd
to the less savy. Any sugestions? Different audio format? I tried killing the
MP3 associations thinking the MediaPlayer was the culprit, and then there is
no sound at all. Fun is!

Do you mean that two copies of the MP3 start playing? The Viewer can't start
two presentations, so I'm confused by your description. What does the second
line of your autorun.inf file say? Are you linking to another presentation? As
you can see, I'm confused.
