Lucky Dog

I am using IE 6 with Win XP Pro...and logged in as ADM.
The View -> Toolbar options are grayed out and not selectable, but if I log
in under Guest account it all looks normal.
One other note the option to Customize is not there so I can't just add
something back in....don't know why but it is gone when logged in as adm.

Any idea's anyone?
Please help ....Thanks

Lucky Dog,
Lately the "iSearch" hijack has been doing that ....
You can use Ad-Aware to remove (see below)
[or]
Copy and paste the below to Notepad
"File Types" drop-down menu = all files
Save as: UnlockToolbar.reg

REGEDIT4

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\Explor
er]
"NoBandCustomize"=dword:00000000
"NoToolbarCustomize"=dword:00000000
"Btn_Search"=dword:00000000
"SpecifyDefaultButtons"=dword:00000000

To use: right-click and select: Merge

Unregister the toolbar.dll which unlocks the toolbars for you. Then, follow-up with spyware removal.

Toolbars are locked - Unable to customize toolbar and tool band:

Thanks for the help that worked ....but there were some other listings there
in the registry....and they were also set to 2 or 1 ...I didn't change them
though, just the one's you listed.
I am curious to know what their purpose is.
