Boo

I have Win XP with IE6.
The option to view source of web pages stopped functioning
suddenly.
The option is available in the menu but it just does not
do anything and no error message is pressented.

Hi,

Check for the files notepad.exe in the following paths and delete them:
C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Desktop\
C:\Documents and Settings\<Your user profile>\Desktop\

If this does not help, delete all of the files in the Temporary Internet
Files folder.

To do this, follow these steps: Start Windows Explorer. Browse to
C:\Document and Settings\User Name\Local Settings\Temporary Internet Files.
(Delete Content.IE5 as well)
On the Edit menu, click Select All, and then press DELETE. When the
confirmation message appears, click Yes. Close Windows Explorer.

Checkpoints/Options:

View Source - Restore Notepad as Default (Line 183)

View Source - Add or Change Editor (Line 183)
