"View Source" doesn't work...

Why doesn't "View Source" work in IE6?

It just stopped working one day in IE5. When I upgraded to IE6, same
problem. When you click on "View Source", nothing happens. IE6 otherwise
works fine (as did 5)---doesn't freeze, no error messages, but NOTHING
HAPPENS at all.

[Disabling ZoneAlarm Pro makes no difference.]

In contrast, my Netscape Navigator 6.2 "View Page Source" works flawlessly.

Thanks in advance for any help anyone can offer!

1. The usual fix is to clear your Temporary Internet Files.

2. If you have a shortcut on your Desktop for Notepad, rename it to
something else.

Take a look at this Microsoft KB Article:
"Source Code Is Not Displayed When You Click Source on the View Menu in
Internet Explorer "

....this is a long shot, but this problem has happened to a
few of our developers...

Have you tried clearing your cache via Tools -> Internet
Options -> Delete Files. Not sure exactly why/how it
worked, but it did in our case.

Best wishes.
